BYD Sealion 7 On Genting With Walkaround By Ivan Khong | YS Khong Driving

I guess many people have been eagerly waiting to see how the BYD Sealion fares on our favorite mountain.
Yes, how would a 2.8 tonne EV tackle the steep slopes and sharp bends? Does it have enough power? Can it handle? Will the brakes be able to take it?
Sorry, I am still out of action, but my stand in, Ivan Khong really puts the Sealion on the limit, and even discovers a new feature, and also can feel the difference in the drive torque split between front and rear motors.

Well.. Looks is subjective.. Sealion should be placed as comfortable SUV not a sport car. To me it's good to have safety measure to prevent overheating

@Zhi-er2sn actually BYD battery is more reliable since using blade battery for this car, so less worries. Besides this car is also atttsctive to young people and looks sporty too. It depends on people’s taste

I prefer the Tesla monitor screen. Sealion7 has 2 screen The smaller speedo meter has a camera picture in picture too small & lower can’t really see the picture… but can’t transfer to camera monitor to the big screen. In the Tesla can see clearly front car & people in front if the car .., Tesla has 8-9 camera …. Power is more linear not as aggressive as Tesla…. China car are more posh … leather dashboard/seat more european…. Tesla more minimalist

It seems the BYD sealion 7 , have better grip than the xpeng, easier to turn in, maybe because it has better ESP or awd? Although it has softer / comfort suspension? Because uncle said, its easy for this sealion 07 to rotated/ turn in the corner
