Why do they have a fuel pump mounted on the fender? Im guessing thats to prime it when its been sitting?

The previous owner of that truck was under the impression that the mechanical pump was not working, so they wired in a electric pump right there to run the original 305. Very observant!! Thanks for watching. Jerry and Emily

Sweet set up! What year is your TA? We have a '78 Y82 here for a full restoration.

@@UglyTruckExperience 1977 Pontiac... bought it in a junkyard with a salvage title...it was being sold for parts. The car was considered unrestorable, parts of the rear frame was missing, and lots of falling rust. If this car was sandblasted...nothing much would be left over lol. But i just used my RoadKill skills and know how, within 3 months it was back on the road.

It all depends on what we pay for the engine and transmission, but it's usually around $7000-$7500 total parts and labor.

This one had everything on it. Cruise, dual tanks and we did all new air conditioning. Total cost ended up at around 11500.00. When its just the basic swap they can be around 8500.00.
