Hi, I’ve just subscribed on the recommendation of Roaming in Raymond 👍. My husband and I visited Haverigg, stayed at Harbour Lights and cycled where you walked. Also had a nice meal at Herdwicks & a couple of drinks at the Harbour Hotel where a local cat sat on the table with us! We absolutely loved the area, very scenic and not busy with tourists we knew we’d found a little secret piece of heaven! Seen more people visit since but still not overly busy looking. Lovely to re-live it through your video. Keep up the vids & happy travels! All the best, Sue

Ooh hello Sue, thank you very much and I am glad that you liked this video. Hope you find my other ones on this tour equally as brilliant!! Bit of a strange place, Haverigg, but quiet for sure and that is what I was after. Home now planning my next venture. I will have a look at your videos and maybe I can learn something. Still a beginner, me. Take care. Martin

@@BentleyOnTour Hey, I'm sure I will like them all haha, and look forward to following them. I'm not sure you'll learn much from mine (😂) but do please check them out. I'm still quite new to this myself but learning fast and enjoying the process. Hope you do too 👍

That's a really nice place. So deserted, just our kind of place. Seen it on the map a few times but never been. Might have to go on the way back. Was the parking OK?

The village was okay, but the walks along the dunes, the sandbanks and then along the sea wall were fabulous. As you saw it was windy (still have to sort out a microphone set up). There was parking along the sea wall. It did say no overnight though. Next to Harbour Lights Camping there was parking, not sure about over night. There was some next to the rugby club too. Plenty of dunes so maybe there are other access roads to the north of the village

If it looked like a Heron but white then it's an egret.

An Egret, that was what it was then. Thanks Helen.
