It's been a fun ride everyone. Luxury watches put us on the map, but also gave us our worst black eye EVER!
Nevertheless, we're still a family business, which means that we need to do whatever is necessary to survive and maintain the family intact...even if it means leaving luxury watches behind. I know. It's sad to even fathom something like that, but this is not yesterday's world. We're witnessing lots of changes that we never...even in our wildest dreams...imagined we would be witnessing in our lifetimes.

I am considering Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet to add to my collection, and want to know if you are seeing wholesale prices continuing to fall on these two brands? This Cuban coffee reminds me of the magic potion drunk by Asterix, our favorite Gaul (one of the most popular cartoon character in the world, less known in the USA). That's it! This cuban coffee must be the secret of CRM, the magic potion ensuring that our favorite store will always resist the competition or the market sobrasaults. In another vein, I really liked seeing Sandra, the methodical siren, take matters into her own hands, she who is usually more withdrawn in these videos. More of her, please| As for Betty, the other mermaid, the idea of ​​putting her more in front of the cameras risks blowing up your mailbox with requests of people asking her out (31:39)! Blimey! This is a jewelry store! :):) I was going to say it's a watch store...but with the cliffhanger at the end...should I still say ''watches''? Grand Seiko really do make some incredible watches nowadays. The dials are gorgeous, hand crafted, and hand polished. You get a very top quality watch for your money. I have Patek,Rolex, AP, JLC, Omega , etc and I don't really care about their value. As I never sell them.

I remember one of my advertising mentors tell me about the companies that survived the depression. He said the ones that kept advertising were the ones who survived and eventually prospered. I only understand CRM as a watch business but all my info is from stumbling on your videos a couple of years ago. That's the KZbin brand. There's nothing that says there couldn't be a parent company called Carlos Enterprises and under it are the KZbin brand CRM jewelers and other financial interests like the jewelry. I'm a silversmith and I love the jeweler's benches and the work they do. Another Enterprise branch would be the real estate brand. In the end though, I think the big financial institutions that are setting valuations for the secondary watch markets with ideas to go in and buy up small companies is worrisome unless... Unless you decide to get a valuation on CRM's KZbin brand and wait to sell the watch company to those big sharks that are prognosticating about secondary luxury watch brands in their reports. Just my thoughts. Love this channel and hopefully someday I'll come to Miami to visit.

I mean I agree with Dan. I feel that hype came around and drove prices over to the moon. These watches have never appreciated in value like this. I hope everyone made there money when they could. Realistically watches of highest luxury were designed to stand the test of time thus why your value was there. Like parking money. Your investment has never appreciated like this. My opinion is that just like sneaker reselling people got into flipping watches and drove these prices up way to far. Now the watch market will retract back and I feel plenty of dealers and clients will feel the burn. Carlos your right real estate is key but it builds generational wealth. Unless your going to flip then your talking more xxx’s. My final statement is this Carlos you and your family have great energy and this is why I watch your channel. Dan keep shaking things up because breathing new life into your business is key for your growth.

Hello crew! The Patek 5990 is so beautiful and so engineered, with the highest level of workmanship! Like the AP rose gold perpetual calendar! The RM 67-02 is ugly, can’t stand Richard Mille! Did you know, when Richard Mille started manufacturing his watches in 2001! The majority of the caliber movement were manufactured by Audemars Piguet, if it wasn’t for AP! Richard Mille would have never existed! AP, Patek, and Vacheron Constantine are high end haute Horology masterpieces! Whereas all RM’s, look and wear like for children! RM’s are such Hideous watches!

RM you either love them or hate them. Personally I hate the brand and I'm not the only one, RM has clearly overinflated prices. Nothing in the manufacturing and distribution costs justifies these prices. The supply and demand argument is a sham based on a brand known to have bought up its watches to create this lack of supply. In 10 years, RMs will probably be out of fashion while high-end Pateks and Rolexes will still be considered luxury watches.

Leaving watches behind only makes sense if you have a product you can replace them with. Otherwise youre losing revenue/profits. Leaving watches doesnt mean you will sell more jewellry, it only means youre losing the extra income. You have to decide if the work you put into selling timepieces warrants the returns. I would wait, in fall we will know more.

We won't leave watches behind Roger, just put a lot more effort into selling other higher margin products. From a business point of view, watches are not the most lucrative product to sell, despite people's misconceptions about the money we make.

Hey Dorian. That's an interesting question that no one has ever asked. We love the concept behind lab grown diamonds, just don't know what capital expenditure that involves or the profit margins associated with it.

@@Crmjewelers I don't know much about it myself, I've just been interested in the concept ever since I learned about the BARS press machine. That's one type of machine, but there's a second process that uses gases to build on a slice of diamond. The cost of the equipment is not cheap, and your growing one diamond at a time. The plus is your growing diamonds with different colors and great clarity. They're grown with carbon, so anything carbon can be turned into a diamond. You're a family run business, you can take that concept and use that as an angle. Using people's hair clippings you can process that down to make diamonds. So imagine internity hoop earings that get passed down each generation, continually adding diamonds from each person.
