Hey, it's Wheez. I don't blame you in this decision whatsoever, if you're doing everything by yourself it becomes stagnant(even with vintage stuff) and ultimately the online community will probably always be toxic. Out of the people I've met, you're actually one of the good ones so I'm glad you're doing what's best for you. I'm actually sending 95% of my collection to a kid tomorrow, so my entire arsenal will be about 20 blasters.

I can understand many of the reasons why you are leaving the hobby and channel, I have also gone through burnout many time with things and I don’t have any Nerf events close to me, so it’s been hard for me to go to a Nerf war. I will miss you making videos as they were really high quality and you have some awesome stuff in your collection, bye Captain and I hope you enjoy whatever you do next 🫡

Honestly don't blame you at all for making this decision especially with some of the points you bring up. A lot of these (coupled with the years of drama on the online side of the hobby) ultimately led me to leave the hobby myself back in 2021. I wish you luck in whatever you decide to pursue in the future. Been a good 5 years o7

I can definitely understand where you're coming from with this, I never made too many nerf videos but it was fairly evident that I had lost some interest in the nerf hobby. My interest was kind of re-kindled when I built a custom nite-finder for my girlfriend however. Who knows maybe your interest will return at some point.

So what I’m understanding is that Nerf needs random boosters. All jokes aside however, falling out of a hobby is one of the things that takes us the longest time to realize. Something that’s been a part of us for who knows how long, suddenly means almost nothing. It’s a somewhat somber time, but gives way to growth and lets us explore new things. LET'S GO GAMBLING Lol, I really appreciate the support though, and you are so right, it's a strange feeling for it to drop so fast, but once I realized that I no longer found value within the hobby, I knew I had to move on, and honestly, the feeling of not clinging on to it feels pretty good, and now I can learn to find enjoyment in other things.

It's understandable why you're quiting Nerf KZbin. Especially since I'm in the same boat as far as Nerf games go. And usually when you feel like you need to move on, that means it's time, at least for now. Thanks for leaving preexisting videos up though! And of course thanks for what you have contributed to the hobby! I know you're videos definitely have inspired me and my channel (especially in 2021 when I was really starting to get into it more) you will most certainly be missed, but good luck as you move on and God bless!

Pursue music production if you really enjoy it. Unlike nerf it is far more practical in opening doors to jobs that pay livable wages in our current economy. I have also been having a hard time holding onto nerf as a hobby but only kept it because it is near impossible to sell now. You may have similar issues with pairing down what you worked so hard to find and pay for when selling is currently more popular than buying.

@RobertMyth Thank you, at ease, firefly o7 It's interesting that you mention a rebrand, as I have a pretty sweet idea, though it won't be in the form of changing this channel. This will stay as it is, and I was actually thinking of making a new channel to upload that sort of thing, a pure music channel. I'll let you know when it happens!

@@Jurgensen1Ehhh, Springs is slowly losing interest in the hobby. He doesn’t seem dedicated as he once was. On top of that, according to Drift, he also left a bunch of nerf servers because again he’s losing interest in Nerf and moving to other hobbies. That’s what I know though.

@@OutOfIdeas9977 I don't really blame him if he is. Only good prospects these days are collecting vintage or MAYBE making your own group to modify N-strike blasters(and early elite) to fire harder. That being said, he's sort of like me consistency-wise and has dipped in and out of the hobby before, and unless he makes drastic move like I have I don't really see that cycle stopping, especially with how large his arsenal is. Also this is one of Slendooman(wizard of darts)'s many accounts if you didn't know
