I hated that footbridge whenever I had to go to Hasler hospital for an eye check-up. As a very young kid I was freaked out by seeing the gaps between the wooden planks at the Hasler end. Always tried to beg my mom to allow us to go by Bus the long way around. Happy memories of fishing off the Gosport ferry pontoon though when I got older. I now live in the US but hope to make it back to Gosport to visit one day..

Had never realised the field next to Tom Parker’s was where the horses grazed - makes sense now.

Surprising that Mr. Goering and his airborne urban re-development team. Didn't hit Gport more than they did.

Good old GOSPORT our haven. Sparky and me grew up here and its awful to see how this place has been skrewed over by redevelopment and the shit GBC who have no real scence of what Gosport means to us local patreots ,without doubt once the Gov have sold out the army then GBC will see Browndown to the highest bidder and that will be gone forever. It makes us bloody sick. I cant even finish my pie now ! They wont be happy until Gosport is just another urban bog hole like Southampton or Portsmouth. If you realy care about Gosport,Baby Seals, the poor, the starving, the homeless, global warming, global cooling, orphans, foreigners the euro,Brit Exit, communism, panda bears,or intimate body oders, the go to our educational department page to fin out more kzbin.info/www/bejne/mF6VnoyLZdyhfac

I'm studying for a degree in physics so I have a fair idea I think. It's a hell of a trek to Manchester but more than worth it if you love something.
