​@@sleepingzom Sorry if I'm wrong but there is a "hypothesis" that Tails died in Sonic 2 (I don't know exactly which of the 2 versions, but a different one from the classic that most know), if you take the bad ending. That is without collecting all the emerald chaos, Sonic appears Running during the credits or a final scene while at night, Tails looks like a constellation
