Fantastic filming and drone footage. We only made Friday, but that was most enjoyable! Great seeing areal view of Boston Lodge Works.

Riding the gravity train must be scary at first, but exciding to ride too! The drone footage VERY VERY IMPRESSIVE OF THE TRAINS THEMSELVES, also the spectacular Welsh county side! Wished we had kept a portion of narrow gauge railway in my Canadian province as a tourist attraction. The entire railway closed 31 years ago September 1988.

Very ironic gala is one of many words to describe it. Mega job to the camera crew especially with the drone shots. Big congrats and well done to all the volunteers :-)

I do like that general goods. Makes quite a change to see an engine pointing in that direction ➡️

Wonderful. Lurrrv the FR, had my first ride on holiday in 1967 (behind Blanche) and joined the Society in 77 whilst on holiday with the future Missis P. Fab! Does anyone want loads of FR mags?

Fantastic filming. Sadly, Princess will never be restored and join in and run alongside her siblings ever again

Is Palmerston, seen here facing downhill, usually at home on the Welsh Highland? \m/

Probably a daft question, but on the double fairlie's, are the water tanks cross-fed, so that all four will fill from one filler, or are both ends separate?

Yes they are.

At 21:48 it appears that there was once a switch-back going up the side of the mountain.

This was a spur to a lead mine. The curve is known as Lead-mine curve.

So how does the locomotive that pulls the slate wagons up return back? Run by itself on return or added to another returning train? I have always wondered that.

You are spot on. It runs back to TyB light engine and then joins onto a train back to Boston Lodge.
