byj-"Beauty Of Korea"

"A Journey in Search of Korea's Beauty" was a yearlong project that Bae Yong Joon undertook in order to learn more about traditional Korean culture from the unfledged yet earnest point of view of one Korean, and to record in a down-to- earth way what he learned and felt in the process.
When BYJ wrote this book, he tried to imagine, about what comes up in people's mind when they think about Korea, "Kimchi? bulgogi? hanok? hangeul? hanbok..."
But if the question came to me, I will quickly answer "BAE YONG JOON...!!!".... hahaha =))) because it's him who comes first in my mind when I think about Korea....(^___^)v and because of him I want to know more about Korea. And this book really helped me to know more about the beauty of Korea.
Therefore I would like to recommend this book for those who like to travel and especially for BYJ's family. Through this book you will see the beauty of Korea through his eyes and his heart. And I can feel the honesty and sincerity of what he wrote in his book.
Just like he said "I've learned that it is not ability, fame or money that is important (in preserving the Korean Culture) but a true heart...!!"
And indeed visible in every word written in his book....that he wrote with his heart!!

When I read the title of his book the first time I thought all he needed to do to find the beauty of Korea was to point the camera at himself....and in a way he did just that as he shares so much of himself on every page. BYJ became such a sincere, enthusiastic pupil of every artform and subject....and communicates his feelings and thoughts so beautifully on the page. This book and this amazing man are both treasures!! LOVE BYJ!!!
