India's fight with Hepatitis B With neighbours to the like of Bangladesh and Nepal been able to control Hepatitis B in WHO's South-East Asia initiative has raised severe questions on the Indian policies and its implementation for the same. As the countries with significantly limited resources have been able to achieve a feat which escapes India. India consistently managed to have a dedicated policy to address the issues pertaining to Hepatitis B. The issue seems to be with the implementation of these policies on the ground. The doses which are to be given within 24 hours of birth are found to be a shortcoming. Surprisingly, this lag is not due to deliveries being outside medical institutions. As a significant share of total deliveries 75% approx are performed in hospitals. Even in those hospitals, the dosage is not received by all. One of the reason is found to be the reservation shared by the employees of the hospital that they will waste these medicines if once opened it. These institutes fail to educate their employees about the WHO position which clearly states that these Hepatitis medicines can be kept in open for 28 days. The shelf life of these medicines is longer and is not compulsory to use it within 48 hours. Indian authorities need to identify any areas of lagging and work on them so as to achieve a successful rate in combating this disease and help realise the fuller potential of India's demographic dividend.

Ans-2 Teachers are the backbone for student careers and overall development. For morals, value, skills and knowledge development teachers play an important role that reflect in our economy in future. But teaching profession has lost as seen in a world driven for consumerism because of greedy nature ,materisltistic demand and changing social conditions. Everyone want lavish lifestyle and teaching as profession lost its dignity beacuse • Lack of social recognition to teachers. • Every investment in human resources is to get results and teaching is risky option. • Quality delivery is poor among teacher and old style of teaching methods. There are some measures to improve the quality of this profession. • Strengthening the existing statutory board such as NCTT (National concil of teachers training). •Government scheme for development of teachers including high salaries and some additional allowances for govt school teachers ,better infrastructure facility. • Digitization of teachers world give incentive for teachers such as smart education Delivery system such as e-book ,e-library, etc . • Extra curricular activities for teachers as well as students to bridge the gap b/w teachers and students. • Working condition of teachers should be secured by hygiene programme for female teachers etc. In this globalization era ,digitization play an important role among teachers for enhancing its capability, quantity and effectiveness.
