Watch Byomkesh Bakshi's fourteenth episode 'Aadim Shatru - Part 1'. Byomkesh Bakshi is a fictional detective in Bengali literature created by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay. He is one of the most successful and popular characters in Bengali literature.
Doordarshan now brings to you the entire series of this literary classic which was televised back in 1993 directed by the brilliant Basu Chatterjee. Actor Rajit Kapur played the role of Byomkesh Bakshi, for which he was highly praised. Ajit was played by K.K. Raina and Satyaboti was played by Sukanya Kulkarni who was the first actress to play the character.

@@amolbachhav367 जी नहीं। मूल कहानियों/उपन्यासों में लेखक शरदिन्दु बन्दोपाध्याय ने ब्योमकेश जी को 'चाय का आदी' (a tea addict) के रूप में निरूपित किया है। उस समय तो ब्रुक बॉन्ड, लेड लेबल, ताज और लिपटन को अपने ब्राण्ड्स प्रमोट करने की ज़रूरत ही नहीं थी : अपने आप ही बिक जाती थीं, उसके आलावा खुली चाय भी बिकती थी। लिपटन ग्रीन-लेबल चाय का तो इंतज़ार करना पड़ता था, बाज़ार से खत्म हो जाती थी।

Ok those days small mistakes weren't observed but the content was produced with great Hard Work Today small things like Chai are carefully observed but the content is equal to overacting nd useless dialogues. What we want? just a good content like Byomkesh Bakshi not like CID where everything from Shoes to Coat to Hairstyle is given more importance than Content. Why Netflix, Amazon Prime nd some foreign Shows like Sherlock Holmes nd Crime Files are good to watch these days because they focus on content not on clothes nd hairstyles. Today the directors need to learn something from Byomkesh Bakshi!
