Wow... American Pie as they drove by the school/McDonald's construction gave me goosebumps. Miss the old days for sure.

holy cow. i was only a year old at this point. i never knew about the sunflower. we used to go to the old Fernandos when it was in the space beside the sunflower. i miss the "young new" byram. since i moved from the area, i never wanted to go down Siwell Rd again. just the sheer chaos will drive you nuts

Terry RD not 4-laned and Siwell freshly widened. Back then, I'd dodge the road reflectors at night, swerving back and forth on an empty new road.
