Hey frenzzz! Longevity is great with a primer. There was no creasing after 6 hours, and the shimmer I used on my left eye stayed. That shimmer in particular was the driest, and I applied more primer to amp it up. I filmed with the palette again to create 4 more looks, and made some comparisons with Prismic. Hindash also came in, so we shall see which vidgeo uploads first!

totally agree... super long lasting. I used the Nars primer with it at 5am this morning, and it looked pretty much the same at 10pm when I decided to melt it off and wash my face :).

You may want to try the shimmer with the Pat McGrath stick thing. I have it, but don’t remember what it’s called. I LOVE the Hindash palette!!!

I bought this from Saks as an impulse buy as well. I bought their palette last year and liked it but there was something about this color story that grabbed my attention. It already came and I wore it today and it was stunning. I put that red metallic on my lower lash line and was so impressed. I agree that the shimmers and metallics are not as crazy impactful as most that I gravitate towards (I’m looking at you, terra moons and JD glow, lol) but sometimes subtle is beautiful too. And I say subtle, but they really weren’t that subtle. All in all, I am pleased with my purchase and am happy I picked it up!

I really love Byreodo's big palettes. The concepts, the colors... still observing from afar because I don't need more eyeshadow palette rn. But damn... when you swatch them they look so beautiful! Still bumped that I missed last year's palette.

This palette has it all. It has some dark dramatic shadows, some gentle one & done shades, it really is versatile. I like that the glow is very satiny and subtle because as I get near to number 40, I still want to wear eyeshadows but not to be shiny as a disco ball.

Yes yes yes!!! I just ordered my palette directly from Byredo yesterday, and took a risk since I could only find one KZbin review with swatches. Although several colors look similar in the pan, when swatched out they look different enough. I’m a neutral lover and especially love metallic and shimmery golds, bronzes, coppers and champagnes. Can’t wait to try it out!

I had a blind faith moment with this palette as well, but I knew it wouldn't bomb based on my experience with Prismic. While I understand that Byredo is still fairly new, and they will have their version of neutrals-I love their formula. And I wanted to experience these shades Byredo style ⚡️

Thanks for your review! I got the palette when it was on sale recently and the moment I opened the package two shades felt out and shattered. While I'm chatting on the phone with the customer service, two more fell out. They told me unfortunately because it's out of stock they couldn't replace it for me and could only offer 25% off :( I returned it at the end because I didnt want 4 (or possibly more in the future) out of 18 shades destroyed and very difficult to be repressed.

Hi Alicia this palette looks gorgeous but I’m not sure the mattes will work on deeper skin tones. Some will but most won’t, but it’s a beauty. In your next video, can you do some eye looks that aren’t monochromatic? Can you make the transition stand out more and not have the outer V shade blend away the transition, and a different color shimmer shade that compliments the transition but doesn’t match it exactly? I miss those eye looks on your channel. I’d love to see more of that. ❤️❤️ No pressure! 😀😀

You have beautiful eyes Alicia! This is probably a pet peeve of mine as I don’t like false eyelashes myself, but I feel like they hide your eyes which are already gorgeous. The shadows look amazing on you, especially the warm copper.

And I'm so excited about Byredo eyeshadows, not that I have any yet...but I was so happy to hear you feel they're great quality and comparable to Suqqu, you say?? I love Suqqu and Surratt shadows the best, and this sort of matte/slightly shimmery, easily blendable is completely ME, but I'm going to wait and see if they come out with a cooler toned color story before investing...too much pink is not great for me, so I'm willing to wait. Also, as I live in Europe, buying from Byredo is simple vs. other many other brands and for alllll these shadows, I think it's worth the price if you can buy, they truly are works of art on top of good quality, yes please. Such a beautiful palette! The formula is such a light texture…. It layers and blends so beautifully! You can create so many colors and looks by layering even some duo chrome effects both cool and warm. It’s really fun to play with. I’m so glad I purchased it!

Must have it! My lids are getting crinkly, so that texture looks good. Probably more age appropriate than what I've been buying. And some of those colors could be amazing on the cheeks. Hopefully, I'll find a reason to leave the house and wear makeup. :( Almost lost my eye in January, so I need to show it some love by dressing it up!
