The only thing I wish they’ve done are the removable, magnetic pans, so we could rearrange the shades as we like. With large palette like this one it makes a huge difference in terms of organisation, inspiration and overall fun.

I adore this palette. It has so much variety and so many interesting ways to combine the shades. Wears beautifully on my 53 year old eyes, and makes me look like a much more talented makeup artist than I am! I love remembrance, too.

This one is definitely not the same old stuff we see over and over and over. It's not a travel palette. It's pricey. It is unique in my collection. I regret nothing. I do like the purple look you did best.

Byredo needs to hire you to produce the looks for their advertising. Their take is something like Hunger Games meet in a dark alley. I love the overall color story and using these shadows, especially after watching what you do and taking notes on the order in which you use the colors. I think the real key is starting out with one of the really light colors all over the lid, then building around the edges. I tried the purples the first day, and the greens today. I liked what I was able to produce, but think I will like it better starting with the very light color. Even though I tend to lean toward the lighter colors, I can see a useful purpose for all the colors. As an LSU graduate, I would say that that you can never go wrong with purple and gold. (lol)

I LOVE when you do swatches of a palette by formula or color family. It helps me organize my thoughts and really wrap my mind around what I can do with it! The tweaks I’d make to the palette are #1 taking one of the golds for a deep cool brown (matte or satin) and #2 I’d trade out one of the deep blues in the bottom row for a mid tone taupe matte. Oh and you mentioned the silver and gold formula from Remembrance! I wish one of the cool golds in Mineralscapes had been that special formula. And you’re right an iridescent shade or two is very on trend and would certainly go with the Mineralscapes theme! I’d definitely like your tweaks, too!!! I loved all 3 of your looks!!

This is my first byredo palette and I absolutely love it. The formula is incredible and the shades are so stunning. Haven’t had a chance to use the deep blues and greens yet but I hope to soon!

I have been waiting for your review!! It's currently OOS but if it ever comes back in stock I'm still debating if I should get it 😫 I love cool-toned purples, greens, and blues. I usually prefer smaller palettes but if I were to get a big Byredo palette, this would be the color story I do it for. But I have similar criticisms - I wish it had more mattes and high-shine metallics since a lot of the shades are a similar shimmer finish, and less mid-tone shades. I saw a lot of other KZbin reviewers end up with pretty dark looks since they use the mid-tone shades all over the lid. I really like how you did a light shade in the inner half and focused the medium shades on the outer half to make some beautiful everyday looks! I would totally be comfortable wearing those 3 looks to work, and your positive review makes me think I can replicate similar looks 😂 But I'm also worried about dupes in my collection. I don't own any blues. For greens, I have the Sydney Grace mountain trail which has beautiful warm-toned greens. These look to be more like cool-toned, but I can't really tell if they are similar. For purples I own the Viseart Violette entendu and Tom Ford Daydream so probably don't need more purples, but the Byredo purples do look a little different, or maybe I'm just trying to convince myself they are 😅 If you have any input Sofia, or anyone else, I'm all ears ♥

I have also been going back and forth about getting this palette . Like you said it’s not enough mattes . I don’t really grab for or wear blue tones and olive or steel like eyeshadows so I’m thinking I probably won’t get justified wear out of it especially because it’s so pricey and I don’t want to be wasteful with money or the product and declutter it . Pricey palettes like pat McGrath motherships it’s easier for me to make a decision bc even tho expensive I use those colors . I guess we can purchase it and try it out . If we don’t get wear out of it we can sell it on mercari , etc 😅

While I know I could pull out some similar shadows in these colors, I do think that the formula is different and what matters a lot to me is how inspired I feel when I open up a palette. I don't have anything that quite matches this full "mood" which is why I have so much fun using it

My fav is 3rd look, i will definitely try it. This palette is fabulous, i am so glad i managed to snatch one, almost missed out on it. These cool tones are to die for. Love all The blues/teals/greys for sultry looks, i dont care if its day or night i just go for the colour i feel most on that day. I combine this palette with its sister Kalahari for the neutral matts and a few shimmer accents. Agree some toppers would have been great - maybe in the next release. 💙🇦🇺

I agree, it's not a perfect palette in practical terms. Duplicates, too many mid tones, missing topper and neutral neepening shade. Nonetheless, I find it so uniquely nuanced, that I ordered it. I feel like it's also great to dip my toes into cool tones more, since there's some tones that I already love an wear a lot - the roses and olive greens. So the blues and dusky purples are more of a wild card. Very inspiring color story! I'm so excited to get it delivered.

Hi Sofia, Here is my perspective for this palette: Prons: -nice packaging -nice creamy texture Cons: -big overwhelming palette -lack of matte shades -lack of light shades: only 3 very low pigment shades, more like toppers than actual solid colours -very similar blue shades -not very wearable for every day use -too many medium shades and luck of deep shades for outer corner Overall I don’t like this palette and it doesn’t worth the money for me despite the fact I love neutral/cool tones. Your review is very good as usual and I appreciate how you pointed out all the aspects.🙂 Totally different subject, I went to see the nice Sandro dress from your previous post and it was too long for me because I think I am as “tall” as Allfeisty (Jennifer) -160cm 😁 I ended up buying a long sleeve top same fabric and colour story like the dress (black with a cream collar) and I was very happy that I found the last one in size 0.😍 Thanks for sharing!💕

I think the formula is just perfect it’s not to much but just enough for every day because the ones on pat McGrath are to intense for every day plus this formula lasted a long day over 8 hours so not bad

The second look was very light and fairy-like until you put this very dark violet shade, it made you look much older. The 1st look was boring, the 3rd look iis the most flattering on you. The palette looks very interesting, but not so expensive. How long do the shades stay on you? I read that they fade away after some hours

I don't find that they fade. If you think the shades are aging then I wouldn't recommend it because as I warned there are not a lot of light shades and it sounds like that's what you prefer
