I wonder with the low pressure of these rounds if it would fire from the 12 ga cheap plastic flair guns? I would buy two and try one by itself and then try a second one coated around the "chamber" with a thick coat of JB Weld Original for reinforcement. I would bet the JB Weld version would hold together for sure.

A consideration of the round coming apart as it left the barrel was the choke in the gun. I would guess you wouldnt want to use anything tighter than an improved choke.

25ft shot looks like a 300fps paint ball hit from the same distance… up close they will leave a monster whelt that sometimes breaks the skin and bleeds a little. So to me this is like, why not just use pepper balls in a paint ball marker with the gas cranked up a bit?
