I think the argument for EP would be a great subject for a dissertation. My view without huge analysis is that Executives would not normally need physical protection. Always threat dependant of course but in the main probably not. The definition of an executive would be interesting as I think it is open to huge interpretation. I passed my Close Protection course (70% failure rate so not an attendance course) nearly 30 years ago and it is extremely sad to see how things have changed. You are spot on with salaries and the flooding of the industry with sub optimal training and personnel which have pushed our wages down. I refuse to lower my pay requirements. Some VIPs appreciate the difference between a Prius and a Roll Royce. Yes you pay more but quality is important when your life depends on it.

Hey man I got a question.. obviously I'm taking your online course right now to help me get in the game. I also know you said we should get into a physical course as well.. I've looked into a few. I wanted to ask you since your the EP King if you know about SIG Sauer executive protection course is it a EP course companies would respect?? It's a week long 5 days 40 hour course. You can look it up and see what they teach for the distance and money it makes good sense for me but I want to invest in the right training so if you could let me know if it's a good acdemy for EP.. thanks man! BOOM!!
