Love how good this deck feels going second. Between the big bodies of the bystials, the additional removal options (branded beast, rindbrumm bounce, multiple ways to special albaz and fuse with their ED monsters for mirrorjade) and the multiple ways of chainblocking your important effects, this is one of the few decks where you feel confident about breaking boards even without drawing any non-engine. I was a bit worried about playing so many one-ofs but I find that in general they’re more likely to help me extend than brick up my hand (tragedy in the live-commentated game is a great example).

Also an interaction to remember in the mirror - dragostapelia turns cards to level 1, so they couldn’t have tributed albion to summon byst lube since it’s not level 6 or higher. Since the level modulation is permanent it’s always a good idea to hit any of their dark dragons if you don’t need the negate for something else.

@@MasterDuelCentral yeah Lost is insane, if you toggle on they can’t even respond to your mirrorjade effect on summon (if you do Lubellion chain link 1). Edit: and maybe they can’t respond to anything else in that chain as well so you might be able to fuse again as chain link 1 with cartesia or branded in red. You’d have to test that one because I’m not certain, although I do know for sure you can immediately use mirrorjade on summon and the opponent cannot respond if you were toggled to ON instead of Auto.

@@MasterDuelCentral you’re welcome, just remember you can’t chain link 2 fuse in order to lock your opponent out of the next chain, that doesn’t work because Lost says “when” which is why I was stressing it has to be chain link 1.

Branded in High spirits gives you more value than fusion deployment they both give you access to cartizia but you can also get to dump your bystials for added value and a fusion in the grave for activation in the end phase

You can always activate fusion deployment, but you need the right monster for branded in high spirits or you brick. Thats why fusion deployment is better.

I've been running a branded/bystial/tear pile deck with the new support and holy shit is it fun. There are so many combo lines that you're able to go into and the tear cards can help make some crazy plays or to just eat negates

Check the solo mode combo towards the end of the video it should help, but I rlly recommend testing lines in solo mode for like 30 mins. It's gonna help allot

I won't say it's bad because it isn't, but in a format you have x3 Ash Blossom and x3 Maxx C, this deck is one of the worst options to climb of the new pack. If your branded fusion gets ashed, the Cartesia line is not too strong and requires at least 2 more special summons than classic branded. Spright is way more powerful.

Branded is not as good as Tear or Spright.. im saying this as non bias as possible ( even though i play branded myself ). Its no where near as consistent. You may not believe tear is Tier Zero but pay attention to the win rate of the cards next time you do a replay vs them. Branded is still tier 2 And Spright is definitely ahead of it. Spright has an over 50% win rate. These new Bystials will not push Branded to + 50% and neither will Fusion deployment or cartesia .

I couldn't say better, the deck will be better after tears get completely fucked by the next banlists (girls to 1, kit banned, elf banned). But overall, the new cards is such a nice update that made the deck one of my favorites, and still we are missing more cards.

@@AlexStayFly20 I understand your point of view, I just said that because it's most likely to happen in Master Duel, it happened in TCG and OCG (harder). The game always changes, it's part of it. In the end of the day, the only thing that matters is to play with the deck that we like (If it's at least playable) in the best way possible. Kash and Labrynth is gonna be scary as hell in the future tho. That's for sure.
