I think it would look better if u would change sides of background colors(red&blue) Very good tutorial, thank you so much it actually inspired my confidence for Inkscape, I really like what you did there, good luck in your life !

Dude, at 41:00, instead of dinking around with the document size and guessing, you can expand the dialog where it says "Resize page to content" and click the big button. Not only does it make the document properties fit your drawing or selection perfectly, but it centers it perfectly as well. Abiding.

Stephen Walden, you are correct. I could have done that. Frankly, I've just never noticed that option. Thanks for the heads up!

Couldn't 6:07 you just also use the magnetic scissors (or whatever this tool is called)?

I didn't even know GIMP had that tool! Thanks for mentioning it. I'm going to have to give that a shot.

Nice tutorial, I did it with one of my daughter's pictures and it tourned out pretty good. I think I'll send print out the poster. Thanks. Although I had a little problem cause I've tried to clip the back of the pic and whenever I tried to convert to bitmap (with the background already cliped) it came over and over everytime I wanted to "ungroup". So I finished exporting by selecting the foreground and then I imported it in another document. Any advice on this?

Just curious why you didn't just cut the dude out in inksape?
