I was gonna say! There's probably more than one guy playing the mascot. You wouldn't have any time to study and do college if you were performing at 130 event a year, traveling on the road, etc.

There are a bunch of guys playing Cosmo. During Football games they probably have 3 to 4 guys doing it taking turns. Especially for dance numbers they will have their best dancer doing it.

So a former Cosmo told me once that there was a musical number with the Cougarettes, and they didn't have time to get one of the Cosmo's to practice with them that they put one of the taller Cougarettes inside.

That guy was one of the Cosmos and he hit his face on the backboard on the basketball court attempting a dunk from 3-point line (thrown that way by 3 or 4 male cheerleaders).
