Perfect talk for the beginning of Fall. I was definitely convicted.

Dr Bingham is the best. I would have never guessed that someone that brings to much joy and fun to class would have had those experiences. I loved learning from the experience and loved the idea of "thin places" and how changing scenery can help us access revelation we couldn't before. "AWESOME" devotional!

I am so touched listening to this talk that I listen to during my fasting this day with my 8 years old granddaughter and my son 24years. This talk brings me to understanding of things that we overlooked and things we took for granted of what our Heavenly Father did for each of us in our individual lives. Your talk brother makes me feel uplifted in so many ways to share with my entire family. We are in a lockdown in NZ but listening to this talk opening up my thoughts, mind, heart and to recognise great things that happened in my life and for recognising Gods hand , and His Love for us.Like you said God wanted us to know that He Loves us and we need to do something for Him in return by seeking to know what we can do for Him. I love this talk and I am going to listen to it and make note for myself . God bless talented people like you brother to share your talents, knowledge and experiences of real life situations that makes endure to the end. Love it.

I’m not a college student, I’m in my late 60 and that talk was awesome, with so much encouragement for all of us, we still have the hard times and I think more as the older you get. Life is alway changing, but we still need to remember that God is truly with us, especially during the difficult times. Thank you for so your wisdom from your life lessons.

This was so wonderful. I just made a commitment at the start of this week that I will constantly record 5-10 things each day when God's hand was at work in my life. I am in awe at the great goodness of the Lord. He helps me see even in the darkest parts of my life. ♥️

I really enjoyed this talk. I have had times of high spiritual vistas and dark spiritual eclipses. Recognize, Remember, Record. This is a wonderful and inspired pattern.

Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Thank you for this beautiful devotional. I've been questioning my worth this last year and have felt distant from God and whether I deserve success or love; this devotional reaffirms the truth that I am deserving of his love and success simply by virtue of who I am, a child of God ... no strings attached. 💚

I clearly remember experiencing the total solar eclipse from a backyard in Idaho Falls on August 21st 2017. It was my 49th birthday and it was as if the Lord had arranged for me to be in the perfect place at the perfect time to view this magnificent and very rare celestial occasion. I live in Alberta, Canada and just happened to be travelling home after visiting family in Utah. My mom was with me and she wanted to stop and visit a friend who lived in Idaho Falls, who invited us to spend the night and watch the eclipse with them as they were very near the zone of totality. As I look back I realize that the timing of my trip was no coincidence. What was more awesome than the eclipse itself was knowing that God knew me personally and my circumstances and arranged a front row seat for me to experience such a heavenly wonder on an especially special day.

You and your wife each went where the other desired not knowing the outcome. Lovely to see all the children in the car. Don't give up, don't lose faith, He has the bigger picture. Hard to go through struggles. I like how you draw us back to the eclipse. Good counsel. Thank you.

When this ended, I looked at my notes and said to myself whispering: “that was awesome” and immediately after I realized the significance of the words. Thank you for this message! I live in Eastern Idaho and we experienced the path of totality as a family! Still remember the awe we felt and the love we felt.

Darkness is the absence of light.... There are very, very few places or times in life when this is the case. But, when we are in one, the solution is to move to where there is light or create an opening for it to come in.... Not always the easiest to accomplish, but trying eventually brings success because light is far more powerful than darkness!

This may sound strange but it's helped me, find an A.A. meeting and attend. You will meet people who have been about as low as one can get in life and have found a way out through their faith in God (or, a higher power). I have never had a drink in my life but I still attend when i'm down and need a boost. I feel so badly for you. I've had some pretty low times in my life and they're very dark in deed. May God bless you through this time.

I have been through very dark periods where I doubted even the existence of God after having had such a sure knowledge. That's a very hard place to be. Continue on in faith and hope. Just when I was thinking the light was gone forever it started coming back, little by little, and then as if out of nowhere it flooded back int my life. I'm not an emotional person, but tears were streaming down my face for a long time as I felt the complete and total assurance of God's light and LOVE. Be patient and faithful. It will come!
