Such a dream come true for a BYU fan! Man what a great era we've entered for BYU Sports!

A lot of rich people in the Utah Valley are willing to put up NIL money to see that their team is successful.
@jordanjenkins1671Ай бұрын
@@timwatson1544 A lot of rich people near every state's biggest universities. BYU joining the Big XII led to the hiring Kevin Young which led to getting top future NBA talents like Egor Demin and AJ Dybantsa. It's a domino effect!

AJ! Welcome to the family!

I'm happy for these guys. They seem happy

Wow, KY has set some serious dominos in motion; blend of experienced coaches, phenomenal culture that emphasizes athletics and education over partying, and international level recruiting… just like the NBA. Is there any way we can get the same pattern with BYU football, we have the right head coach, and defensive visionary, we need a new OC that is ahead of the trends, not lagging. Norm Chow, Scoville, Lavelle… created a new narrative with innovation. Sooooo excited for BYU athletics , Go Cougs!

Its funny. He already signed it when this filmed. He signed 2 weeks ago. lol.
@JermaineColemanАй бұрын
Pick is kinda crazy when alleged he had signed with byu during early signing period. Sounds like a victory lap officially visiting all other schools
@brandonl2555Ай бұрын
You can’t say his name…but you can put it in the title?
@RainDevsАй бұрын
I assume they updated the title once the contracts were signed. I noticed locked on big 12 did the same thing.
@Anonymousb1ack4Ай бұрын
Why cant they say his name on the show? Do they have to wait till AJ signs?
@jarodcole7777Ай бұрын
Yeah the same thing happened with Egor they couldn’t say his name until he signed the contract
@grouchyjudgeАй бұрын
Crazy thing is...AJ signed with us three weeks ago. He signed immediately after the Early Signing period began and didn't tell anybody. He's been with us for weeks and it somehow never leaked
@brettpowers6018Ай бұрын
Are we sure we are not dreaming?
@graden989Ай бұрын
According to Joe Tipton, he actually signed with us during the early signing period in November. Say his name.
@mgers75Ай бұрын
Then these guys shouldve been able to say his name on the broadcast. It's 2024, the NCAA needs to get rid of that rule.
@outsideview9052Ай бұрын
BYU better win and win big or this wont last.
@TheIronweed-vx5lgАй бұрын
You two make me laugh.
@outsideview9052Ай бұрын
Lets hope he is successful and doesnt get injured. Will BYU need a new point guard to maximize his tallent? If he doesnt go #1 overall next year in the NBA draft will his experience at BYU be considered damaging to his future?

@alextemusАй бұрын
@BYUtv Sports Nation If you can't say his name on the program, can you really write his name on the video title, or show Instagram posts with his name written out? I don't have an issue with it, but the rules seem kinda odd🤷🏼♂️
@alextemusАй бұрын
Or Spencer just said AJ's first name...? Lol, these can't be real rules
@alextemusАй бұрын
Aaand Jarom? Lol, what happens if you say his name? A fine? Or is it serious?
@grouchyjudgeАй бұрын
Craziest part of all of this is that he's already been signed with us since mid-November. Idk why he didn't announce it then, but apparently he signed his NLI at the start of the Early Signing period (with the other two recruits we got) and no one had any idea until now. Perhaps most shocking is that it didn't get leaked...that's seriously nuts
@HawkinIIАй бұрын
Congrats to NIL
@timwatson1544Ай бұрын
As a whole, it means someone is putting up a lot if NIL money for him.
@mgers75Ай бұрын
Will be interesting to see how BYU builds roster around Debantsa? Sounds like theyve ggot plenty of booster money laundered into the NIL collective.
@Lamont47Ай бұрын
Y’all paid him how much ?
@Che1itoАй бұрын
Apparently he has signed already, but I get not saying his name during this show since that wasn't known at the time.
@brent6100Ай бұрын
What drama queens...He signed back on Nov 15th....sheesh
@Che1itoАй бұрын
@@brent6100 I don't think they knew that when this originally aired though. They can't say his name until it's official, and they probably didn't know.
@gr1629Ай бұрын
I'm surprised you guys didn't know he signed his letter of intent weeks ago.
@ThereelBRАй бұрын
Is 7M really thw NIL nunber? If so i hate everything about this, spend that money on football lol. #kiddingnotkidding
@gregbates4517Ай бұрын
Yeah, all the other college coaches suck and don’t know what they are doing but you and your bunch of G League journeymen are somehow the only coaches in college that know how to get kids to the NBA. 😂😂
