Ground in C minor by Henry Purcell and William Croft

"Ground in C minor", ZD 221, by Henry Purcell, a master in composing "grounds" (a repeating bass line accompanied by counter melodies.)
This particular ground has also been attributed to William Croft although I personally feel that it was by Purcell himself.
Here the haunting melodies, arranged for guitar, accompany beautiful bucolic videos set in Wiltshire in celebration of Spring Equinox 2019. Make sure you watch till the very end!

Any reason this is not in B minor? i Feel as though B minor is technically easier with more open notes.

The arrangement is in B minor for the reason that you've stated! The original though in C minor, hence the title.
