*THE MAIN REASON FOR DEVELOPMENT OF C LANGUAGE OVER B IS THE INTRODUCTION OF ASCII DATA PROCESSING COMPUTERS LIKE DEC PDP-11.* So the main difference between B and C language is that, C supports various data types but B doesn't because earlier computer memory can only recognise integer type data.
