Mission 1 - You could use Chinooks to flank the Scud through the mountains in the Top right corner Mission 2 - All you need is Burton, Rangers, and 3 Paladins, and you can rescue all 3 pilots EZ. Burton deals with all the enemies, Rangers with the Garrisons. Paladins to protect Pilots Mission 5 - Not recommended if you wanna do SpeedRun. Capture all but the Command Center of the first GLA base, then build a bunch of Scud Storms and wait for them to be ready. Then continue on with the mission and finish it with the Scud Storms EZ Mission 6 - Focus on the Chinese first, for some reason they won’t be aggressive until you destroy GLA, so end them first so it’s EZ. Mission 7 - Use 5 Overlords (4 Gatling 1 Propaganda) and 3 Inferno.

One of the first full 3D C&C Strategy games, sad it fell to the censorship hammer here in Germany, and that hard: First getting indexed, meaning no selling allowed. Then altering the game so hard it's not even worth playing.

@@hdw Sure thing: First off, most of the censorships were due to the political climate at the time of release, like the removal of the intro, the renaming of factions (USA Became Western Alliance, China became Asian Pact, GLA to IBG - those names I actually had to look up, it's been ages), and as was par for the course at the time (and how every C&C game has been treated btw, with the exception of Red Alert 2), humanoid units have been given a robotic voiceover, been called cyborgs (hell, they even dubbed the cutscenes appropriately back in the day of even C&C: Red Alert) and references to humans being killed in gruesome ways have been removed. So running over Infantry produces metal crushing sounds, no blood, etc. I think references directly to the middle east have been removed as well by changing mission titles and so on. Oh and the suicider unit has been entirely redone. It's downright baffling because there actually existed an uncut version with appropriate German voiceover but no applied changes, like you'd want it to be. I remember playing that one straight up on release (got a copy shipped from Austria) and having rediscovered the game in the collection bundles on Origin I had to learn of the fate that the censorship hammer had given this game.

@@hdw Well, in the 90s and early 2000s the whole Gaming thing here was a bit more shunned and seen as nothing but glorified violence fests. Just take a look at the censorship that the game "Soldier of Fortune 2" received here. The first one was also straight up indexed and the 2nd one fell victim to the censorship machine here like you wouldn't believe. Nowadays it's a lot more lax and all is fair game, with the only exception being the depicton of nazi symbolism is forbidden, if it is done in a glorifying way.

There is a couple videos on the German version that are interesting to watch. There is a really quick one, >5 minutes by a channel called symgr or something like that, it shows the changes made to pictures of generals and units if I remember right.

There was a bug on Guardian Angel. If you damage an US Forces unit it will count for more. You could skip two waves if done right.

On Mission 2, I like to build an ambulance, a Humvee with TOW missile, some missile defenders, pathfinders, and load them into a Chinook as a designated rescue team 3 pilots to rescue, ambulance has 3 seats, there you go XD Palidens and Pathfinders Humvees are to weak, they'll get destroyed along with any infantry take are in them, you're better off garrisoning them in buildings.

I think if you did mission 2 with humvees and putting inside them 2 pathfinders, 2 missile bois and a ranger set to flashbangs you would eliminate angry mobs, rebels in buildings and disarm stinger sites way easier and faster but well done
