While C&C3 was good it was a little strange that GDI went back to tracked vehicles instead of walkers. I know in the backstory GDI didn't consider mass use of walkers to be an optimal solution. At least they didn't ignore that GDI had them and they still retained Juggernauts. It's just weird that Tiberian Sun while predating C&C3 feels further in the future; even though C&C3 is the continuation. Also Tiberian Sun generally felt more apocalyptic which was cemented further with the soundtrack. :)

I absolutely agree with you. Tiberian Sun is more futuristic, but I also view it as more idealistic too. C&C3 is more like a Hollywood action movie. It has less of an atmosphere to it.

Yes it's also a shame C&C3 didn't really focus that much on the strange creatures and mutants that appeared in Tiberian sun. On another note how sweet would it have been to hear music more akin to Tiberian sun when traversing through the red zones.

Iirc, GDI still uses walkers albeit it's just the steel talon division, it's just that the walkers are more expensive to produce and maintain compared to tracked vehicles, still the juggernauts are still used heavily for artillery. For the dissapearence of the tiberium creatures, i assumed that GDI would logically exterminate them considering the fact that they are very very dangerous to humanity. For me, for all the faults of c&c 3, at least c&c 3 actually manage to portray both GDI and Nod very and dangerously competent military forces.

Kinda gotta admit that a battle walker design looks really badass just by itself. Like in Tiberium Universe I really am a fan of Nod, but outside of it I also played alot of old StarCraft during my kid times and hold Terran Goliath as one of my favorite units there, even up to the present time. First off, I love remakes of old game soundtracks, giving them a fresher feel (and optionally getting rid of the old midi sounds). This is one of those remakes that perfectly nails the original, especially the first part. Gives me goosebumps. Nonetheless I'm always nitpicky when it comes to remakes. The only thing I don't like is the guitar. It's not like it's played badly (it's quite the contrary), but on the first riff the guitar sounds out of tune on the higher notes and the solos are meh. Would have preferred no solos. The riff from 1:41 sounds fine each time, but the guitar could be a little louder when it's all on its own. That is all - otherwise nice work. I love it :)
