CCR stands for Clustered Charred Rice
Lyrics below (please provide some notes, positive or otherwise):
Someone told me “Soil your rice.”
Told me “Add some chunks of ice.”
What now? It’s been charring for some time.
Pour it all on hoisined pans,
It’ll scorch until it’s tan,
And den, have it doused in water.
[Chorus]
I wanna know, have you ever seared the grains?
I wanna know, have you ever boiled them plain?
Drown them all on a soggy plate
[Verse 2]
Yesterday, and days before
Burned some rice then drenched it more
You know, scorching starch is all my life
'Til forever, OMSB knows
I crank that skillet, burn it all
Seared thus, they can keep bein’ haters
[Chorus]
I wanna know, have you ever seared the grains?
I wanna know, have you ever boiled them plain?
Drown them all on a soggy plate
[Chorus]
I wanna know, have you ever feared wet grains?
I wanna know, have you ever been in pain ?
Scarfing down all the soggy sand
All credits go to Meoffrey for this beautiful and dumb concept, I love you and your mounds.

really appreciate the introduction of soggy plates but at certain points it seems to oppose sauce? and we're trying to keep the album's thesis succinct and "boiled them plain, drowned them all on a soggy plate [of water]" really seems to go against the grain as it were of "fiiiiiiiiish sauce, flamed grits"

no you don't get it: you're supposed to scorch them, THEN you drown them in water, to really get a sog going.
