About sling that you talked in the beginning - sure, it annihilates light air, but it's so horribly bad vs what you actually need it against, like shade, orca, borca and inferno. Like even 2 slings often fail to kill those without at least one of them dying.

Which is why the unit is garbage design. It's either a SSS or C tier unit depending on what air your opp has

@@ChemFrogEngels keep in mind though that Phantom is way better than hammerhead because of its burst. Inferno, stank, and to an extent, bike are also burst units and all of them are very strong units. I'd say burst is a strong mechanic

Like your games as always. 2, 3 questions... - Any thoughts on Jackson vs Liang on this deck? I play both but am undecided... - There is the possibility to start with infantry which seems no be the obvious choice but I also get better results with factory. Can't really say why. - Killer say he has problems with mutant chuggy in this deck (and therefor uses Shockwave). Is this still a problem with the Jackson boost in your humble opinion?

I would play Jackson because it's much better for the razorback and the mlrs, mlrs shouldn't need Liang if you block for it properly and RB dies to one phantom volley anyway so Liang probably doesn't help much. Dogs are the best opening unit in the game imo so basically always want to open dogs, also when you open dogs and opp is rax they'll basically always make missiles which makes an easy punish with rifle switch, whereas switching to dogs is incredibly underwhelming and almost always does nothing. Vs mutant chuggy you just need to get to razorback but shocks will help in that matchup. Generally the deck is just bad Vs chuggy though so I wouldn't worry about it, you're not going to beat mutant chuggy with shock/mlrs unless the opp doesn't know what they're doing and shocks might just slow down getting to the RB which is the important unit

Rivals could've been a great game but the devs just choose to nerf everything and everyone then calling it 'adjustments'

That's because EA moved the original devs onto other projects and has a skeleton crew "work" on the game. That's why we got an April-Fool's joke unit added recently with no balance fixes.

Or you know... if the game had some real balance by the original devs who cared about the gameplay maybe Nod wouldn't have to rely on only a few viable builds or spec into cheesy tactics while GDI gets all the 2-range fortress units and more viable deck builds.
