When you mentioned infernos on the base, do they do so much damage because of the extra tiles (ie ones you hit with chems), or is it just damage output?

Dan Wallace They hit 2 tiles, so if you lign up the inferno in such a way that 2 base pieces get hit, you get maximum damage output. On some maps it is possible to miss that second tile explosion, so you have to target the correct tiles. A base piece counts as the middle and the building parts. Inferno does A LOT of building damage, + the fire that remains afterwards actually burns the base aswell. It is possible to win the game even after the inferno shot and died because the remaining fire burned the rest of the HP down. That‘s one of the reasons why inferno decks counter tech decks - once you get ahead, you can just win by base destruction, even before the second missile is half charged, giving tech players less time to get their tech out.
