I have to say in the early game that was a very well-placed repair bay 😊 Right in the thick of the action

Blue units and buildings look so sleek on TD. Purple does too
@CommandAndConquerGameplays2 ай бұрын
The blue color in TD is absolutely neat and imo it's much better than the default brighter Allied blue in Ra1! ;D Purple looks good too in this engine but I saw it only in Ra1 since I guess that you need some sort of a color mod in order to unlock it on TD due to the fact that purple is not a part of the original house colors! ;D

*EDIT:* I take some of this back. The consequences of not watching the whole thing. You *CAN* build unique Nod elements such as SSMs. It's just that you have to seize a heavily-defended Nod loyalist base halfway through. By that time, it would already be pointless - you already have this critical mass of Mammoths constantly popping out of your factories. Still not incentivized enough, if you ask me. Even a slow but steady reinforcement of Nod separatist units for you early on would be interesting. ---- *INITIAL CONTEXT:* Not enough Nod on your side as the player. Once you take over the GDI base, it boils down to strictly sweaty GDI vs. Nod. No reinforcements to bolster the Nod elements. Map could use some tweaking for that so you get access to units like SSMs, which have enough range to incentivize fun alternative ways besides bum-rushing Obelisks with Mammoths and riflemen - because let's face it: that's the most cost-effective way to fix an Obelisk problem as GDI.

Im pretty sure he could have had Nod stuff if he had built an MCV, MCVs aren't distincted in TD and RA1. The built one defaults to your player house.
@KajiTetsushi7 ай бұрын
@@IconOfSin24148 It's not going to work in this case. If you've seen the mission selector, the player is actually assigned to the GDI house, so, the new MCV would still give you the GDI tech tree.

@@KajiTetsushi Good catch, my mistake

The one and only way to gain Nod tech in this mission is to capture the Nod CY and / or the Nod factories since the initial base you get to capture at the beginning is a GDI one and even if you build an MCV it will still be a GDI one in this case despite you being a "Multi Tech MIx" house (like you have already mentioned) Mammoth spam seems to work here perfectly fine (like it also does in 99% of the high tech base building missions) though you really have to build *a lot* of them in this mission in order to steamroll the enemy's base (at least the first base) Regardless of that what caught my eye in this mission is the fact that Multi houses for some reason *can't* use the Ion Cannon when an adv. comm. center is built , at first I thought that maybe it's some sort of a weird issue due to the fact that we get a GDI CY in this mission instead of a Mixed tech one but after a short expreiment I did after playing this mission I noticed that you still can't use the Ion Cannon even if you use a Mixed tech MCV.. I assume that it's a bug since unlike the Ion Cannon you can use the Nuke when you build a Temple as a Multi house..

Lengthy fight, that one!

Yep , I honestly don't remember when was the last time I played such a long mission ;o
@edmundwoolliams12405 ай бұрын
Lengthened by having no support powers I suppose, so you had to spend longer massing mammys rather than being able to rush

Destroying buildings that instantly get rebuilt all over again and again is actually quite fun , the more explosions the merrier ;P
