Very nice cast. I enjoy the duel perspective edit especially when there is so much simultaneous action going on. Clutch bike harassment, epic avatar armies, intense base defenses, giant inf swarms, this match had it all.

why do pro players not use anti-vehicle base defences such as laser turrets? wouldn't they be handy placed at a tib field to kill the bikes?

bikes have low hp and shredders are cheaper to make and if he spams defense turrets a quick power plant snipe will screw yu over

I noticed in some of the other matches the players do not use anti-vehicle turrets at all even against tanks, they chose to build watchtowers, like what is that going to do against a predator tank :O Cheaper sure but it does practically nothing to mbt armour

Oguzhan Kilic Hey, thank you! You can find the game (Kane's Wrath) on Origin/Steam/etc., but you need to make sure you have Tiberium Wars too as KW is the expansion. I highly recommend picking up the C&C Ultimate Collection, which includes every C&C game ever made in one bundle for $20 or less. Then, head over to cnc-online.net to get setup on the new server we're all playing on. Hope that helps!

The "." (period) key works as a fast forward button in Kane's Wrath. For this video, I rewatched the entire thing to make sure I hadn't missed anything else that was very important.

Also, with things like laser/sonic fencing and ample expansion bases with good building placement, super weapons aren't as powerful as they might seem when used against structures and skilled players can dodge them if they're fired at units. The massive resource and time investment isn't always worth it, and you can generally find better ways to spend 5k in a match, additionally, such a substantial investment can lose you the game if mismanaged. In a properly balanced game, nothing is a priori popular - every unit is ideally a specific tool for a specific job relative to a specific situation, which isn't to say that generalist/mbt type units can't also be viable, they just have their niche like everything else.

Funnily enough, I think that if every faction had the ability to construct fake versions of their superweapon instead of only BH, you'd probably see alot more people build the real versions too, because their use as a psychological weapon that pressures opponents into certain kinds of behaviors is arguably more important than their actual effect, and with every faction having that ability, I believe you'd have a richer superweapon bluffing, fakeout, and double fakeout metagame which would enhance the "information warfare" aspects of C&C.

This proves my point: GDI is OP. You can say that a skilled player is what makes the differece, but putting two equally skilled players playing against each other, one playing NOD and the other one playing GDI, the GDI player will often win. It could be due to the higher harasses and micromanagement required to sucessfully play as NOD, but it surely influences the final result.

Nod are OP. Too flexible and OP camping. GDI are good vs Nod and not so much vs Scrin. Look at the best players in this game, all have played Nod. Not including lame Trav.

Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed this game and your commentary generally, and you have a nice voice which by my standards is high praise, but you keep saying "rout off" and "defend off" (and variations on those) and it's driving me nuts. :P Just "rout" and "defend against" (or "fend off" if you want to describe the act of defending against something) is fine. :)
