Like I get that Chinese dramas have to write in characters like these to keep you engaged (same like how American soaps have convoluted plots to keep up viewership), but sometimes the "other women" in these shows just honestly are some of the dumbest women to exist. Like I understand the gold-digger types, the ones who want a rich hubby and are more than happy to steal him away from their "dowdy" wife it means they can live in the lap of luxury. But explain the rich ones to me? Like why? Like heifer you're dripped out from head to toe in designer THAT YOU PAID FOR YOURSELF, why are you aiming for a taken man? Hunny bun, you could literally have your pick of handsome men lining up around the block for you and your money, yet you gotta go after the rich married old guy? Like, make it make sense to me, please
