Eternal Love is simply fantastic, both storytelling and production. Mark Chao is hot hot hot! I rate Xi Feng's love in Love and Redemption higher, because he would never betray his love the way Ye Hua did. Everyone be damned, but he'll give everything to protect her. It's the most otherworldly and perfect love I've ever seen in a drama. I'm on episode 22 of Ashes of Love and the drama has everything! So funny, such good acting and writing, stunning set design. I'm loving it!

I read that actor (Mark Chao) wasn’t available for the wedding scenes due to schedule conflict. The Eternal Love Of Dream has different production/director from Ten Miles Of Peach Blossoms. Only Yang Mi was available for the cameo role. I also read that the original actor to play A-Li was already older to play the part, so it was re-cast (played by a girl).

The original writer wrote two novels. One is about Bai Qian and another one is about Fengjiu. The director of the first series didn’t want to go for the second novel. So she put Fengjiu and DongHua’s story in Ye Hua and Bai Qian’s story. This is directed as the novel, but have some changes in scripts.
