Xuan loves her (may be turning into romantic love) but she loves him like a brother, Shiqi has loved her for long because of what she is as a person (it is romantic love as well as the love for one being to another) but he is weak when it comes to going against those who have some sort of influence over him (no matter whether it is her, his family etc...) and though she loves him, she is aware he is engaged (she must realize his weakness of character to some degree?) and whether that can be resolved remains to be seen, the demon loves her (he is fiercely loyal to his troops/cause and now to her, so much so that he has given his only heart and I think he has already given one of his lives to save her when she blocked his killing of Xuan that time) but he also has a cruel side to his nature at times and has trouble letting her know how he feels about her so that though she is aware of a feeling of love for him trying to grow she is afraid of allowing it to take hold because it feels dangerous/unpredictable. She thinks of him often but doesn't want him in her dreams for fear of falling hopelessly with no return. There is something wrong with each of these men when it comes to being suitable for her. Her heart is guarded also since she doesn't want to be hurt anymore. She fears abandonment more than death yet she makes herself expect it to happen thinking it will protect her from feeling that let down/sorrow. The way she behaves as though they can just leave and it doesn't matter is her character flaw. It is obvious Xuan wants power/authority/position etc.., Shiqi is a lovesick fool for her but his family/entanglements etc.. are a weakness he may not be able to overcome/resolve. The demon has a tragic but untold history thus far and his personal utter aloneness is something she shares/understands. She and the demon are the closest in nature when it comes to being alone. Seems no happy ending at this point.

Yeah if we are talking real-world relationships: Shiqi has kind of a puppy-love for her. I used to see my cousins (girls nine months apart) physically fight each other and they were far more brutal, lol. My poor aunt would be crying stop, please stop.
