I still really like Beathard. Idk why people hated on him, he was a rookie thrown into the flames! He took hits like a champ, and he threw a badass pass to Goodwin VS the NY Giants. I feel Beathard will develop under Garoppolo and become a star in the NFL, he needs patience and time. He's a LIONHEART

Had him and Kittle in my mock draft (missed on everyone else, hehe), but am sure glad we got those two guys. I like CJ a lot as well obviously. I get why we went and made the move for Garoppolo, he's got a LIGHTNING quick release, and can make plays outside the pocket, but if you give CJ some time, he can be deadly accurate, and pick you apart. Feel bad for Jimmy G going down, but make no mistake, CJ is ready to play!

WretchedDrummeR well said! It’s truly sad that even “so called “ 49er fans don’t like him. It’s his 2nd year and I feel he has a second chance to really let himself play instead of being pressured. It’s an unfortunate situation the team has been put it but geez give him a shot! I believe he can do the job and put the 49ers in a better position rather than some veteran qbs on the free agency market.

Call me crazy. If I moved up to draft this kid(which they did.I would have too). I wouldn't of traded for Jimmy G. CJ has a lot of positive potential. A little time and Faith would have gone a long way. In my humble opinion.

Looks like CJ will get his chance to validate our hunch about him. He was number one on my board in last year's draft as well, and I was SHOCKED when Kyle actually picked him! He's a smart player, has great mechanics, and if given a little protection, he can really make some nice throws. On Jimmy G, I think John and Kyle saw an opportunity to go out and get a good QB from a HOF system in New England, and they couldn't pass that up; it was no knock on CJ at all IMO. But yeah, I still really like CJB, and think he can be a good QB in this league
