This was one of the best exhibitions I've ever attended. The birds were very well looked after, people allowed in only in limited numbers, finches flying around everywhere and landing on the instruments thus creating music. The finches were quite oblivious of us, I was fascinated by one male who was building a nest - he kept arriving with stalks of grass, fitting them into place, then zooming off to get another load while I stood just inches away. Magical! I didn't even know it was on, I'd attended a lecture at the Museum of London then gone to the Barbican for tea afterwards and decided to have a look at the Curve, see what was on. So glad I did!

COLPIN Didier

Sebastian Simpson well if he did took a great care of his finches (which he didnt..because some females and males are attacking others) and trained them..then it might not be so bad for the zebra finches,but..ive set up Merry Chrismas for my 9 finches..for their present..ive gave them alot of food, care, and even from pine trees ive picked up some little branches for them. (Their gifts are Purr seeds which i will give them soon, roboran which increases their vitality, pine branches which they can have more room, nest boxes, sepia bones, and etc. I hope that means care for them ^_^

There is absolutely nothing clever or "artistic" about this. Throw a few electric guitars around in a big echo-ey room, add a flock of birds - who dislike loud noise, and Hey Presto - NOISE! Where is the talent, the artistic skill? It's the birds I feel sorry for - they should be where nature intended - outside living free.
