It is actually not true. Céline did not think she could hit the note, but the guy, David Foster, was sure she could and then said to her: "Don't worry, Whitney is in the next room, so if you.." and it gave Céline the will and the courage to try, and then she hit the note perfectly in the first try!!

Fact: The high note #F5 is sung in full chest which is very hard to do. Most singers do it in mixed voice! Its also supported while sustained!!! Best #F5 note in musical history! Btw, it's supposed sound strained. That note sung in full chest will be strained no matter what! Only in mixed voice it will not sound strained!

I'm a huge fan of Celine Dion, but know a guy, Brazilian's Gabriel H. who does this unbelievably well and easily. His talent is awesome and i would love to see these two sing together! He's 27yo & mostly self taught and smoothly hits ranges, runs, whistles, etc. without effort it seems, giving all the proper high notes justice as well! He posted on U Tube singing this classic with his heavenly voice just last few days. A tribute and giving honor to Celine Dion and he is a guy!!! Check him out!! Cheers

Да, я согласен - это прекрасное исполнение песни ERIC CARMEN на музыку 2 фортепианного концерта СЕРГЕЯ РАХМАНИНОВА , это плагиат на русскую музыку русского композитора Сергея Рахманинова

I think we all know that this song is very intricate to sing. You must have an amazing breath support and amazing vocal stamina which Celine has. In addition to that, she's not just belting it out, but also showing a powerful conviction everytime she sings. Celine is such a greatest vocalist of all time. Those series of powerful belts she did right after slaying the phrase "anymore . . . " was so amazing! Such a queen indeed.
