@@unbiased503 In fact we are always mixing when we’re singing, which means you’re changing the place of resonance. Therefore you can place the sound more in the chest or more towards the head(the mask).

@ This is not scientifically proven in any way. Belting is part of a completely different mechanism. Even Seth Rings explains that mix voice is a colocated head voice that imitates chest in his episode with Michael Bolton.

Chest mix is completely inaccurate, chest voice is a laryngeal register whereas mix is a technique to make an acoustic effect to disguise the transition from one laryngeal register(M1 chest) to another laryngeal register m2(head )
