Being one of her former performer/dancer, it saddens me that she is now on the verge of retirement due to her disease. For those who don't know, I am retired performer for Celine Dion. I worked for her for decades. Sadly, I had to retire early due to my injuries from constant training and lack of rest through the years of serving her. Fortunately, even after retiring and during my surgeries over the years, even with her busy schedules, she never forgotten about me and my family. Our dear Madam Celine until today still provide for me and my family, may it be in terms of medications, studies of my children in the university, and also the love she still shares with us even during the holidays. Its undeniably a one of a kind experience and a person to have someone like her in our lives. Despite my challenging life, she was there ease all the pain. Now that she is the one suffering after giving her all to us, I believe she deserves all the love and care from all of us. Let's pray for her recovery and potential return for a retirement concert. She achieved it all, I believe. She deserves to spend her remaining years doing the things she haven't done while having the energy she still have left in her. Thank you. It saddens me that this MAGNIFICENT performance only has 13 million views. Nowadays, stream pop artists have to put on a show (much like this one, with dancers and lots of things happening on stage, plus laser and lights and other stuff) to make up for their lack of vocal power. Industry pushes you to come up with singles that have to be a certain way, regardless of the vocal power of their performers. For example, nobody can deny that Demi Lovato and Lady Gaga got some serious pipes, just amazing voices, when they do acoustic performances their voices show off and they're just incredibly talented. But their singles sometimes sound nothing like those real performances, their voices are distorted to fit into the stereotype of those mainstream pop hits, like on Cool for the summer or Poker Face, but have you listened to Gaga perform that song just with a piano? Damn, she slays it, it's like a total different artist. Some other artists are not as blessed as these 2, and have to put on some serious shows on stage to keep you entertained. There are others, like Adele, who just takes her heels of or sits down and has nothing on stage other than her band and yet it captivates you because of her powerful and incredible voice (and great songs too), and that's pretty incredible too. Céline here does it all. She puts on a huge show and she's sounds even better singing live than on records, which is saying A LOT. She delivers an amazing show for the audience with all these dancers and performers and background videos and light show and everything and at the same time she sings like only Céline can. I think, even though she's got some incredible sales and stuff, that she's not given the recognition she deserves for being such a incredible performer and entertainer and singer. My point is, this is an incredible performance by Céline, where she not only puts on an amazing show with all those artists on stage, but her voice is just ON POINT, like I get goosebumps every time I hear this rendition of I surrender. She get's every single fucking note right and it saddens me that it only has a lousy 13 million views, compared to other videos of girls just showing skin or twerking or whatever it is.
