The fade away f5s in south Africa are on the same level as this video. Masterful. I have such respect for the choice of clips and the effort and knowledge possessed in properly making this.

I am at work and can't watch all just yet but i did skip to f5 to quickly scan and check that 10:10 was included. I am glad that note was not missed!! I loved the way she tackled that note before raising it up higher only to make it a headier mix.

Very well done. Many of my favorite clips. Some rarities. Not much went missed. This was a fantastic era though spotty at times. You showcased the best of it certainly

FABULOUS !!!!!!!!! ^^ at 11.35 it is exactly the same note as on "" "" al by myself: "" "" :: with the same chest this huge! ! ! ! ! ! she can not do this all the time !! this way of doing the note damages the vocal cord in any case: the proof is there! !! celine does well this note !!!!!!

I do not understand why all by my self has always lowered the key (from an F5 to an e5), while it takes long and effortlessly the F5 in other songs and even goes up to the C6 in mixed voice. see from in 9:58 to 11:35

Because she need to hit it in full chest voice to express the pain of loneliness in the song
@Onrigan146 жыл бұрын
Sufyan Suri yes, but it is never full chest an f5, it is always mixed voice. Probably in the original version of Celine the percentage of chest is higher than the head, while in the versions of other singers is completely mixed vocals (like Chariche)

Ángel Gali it is impossible to take notes of the 5th octave in full chest voice, the chest voice is used in the low and middle notes, then there is the breaking point in women between A4 and C5, after which the mixed register begins. The difference is in the percentage of head and chest that is used, sometimes prevails one sometimes the other, certainly in the F5 of all my self there is much more chest than head, in that of Charice is more head.

@@SupchargedWhy does that matter. Yes, she started to have texture changes in her voice around 1998 but that was only E5 and above. And the texture changes in her mid-chest did not start untill after 2005. Why do people always do this, Mariah and Celine are both great vocalist who have strengths and weaknesses. We know Celine's voice has sustained a little bit longer than Whitney's or Mariah's. This is why Celine and Mariah fans are always fighting its never Mariah and Celine themselves 🙄.
