This is so sad but at the same time it makes me feel so happy to see how strong this woman is. When someone very close to me died i tried so many things to get better again. In the end it was Celines Music but even more her words and the way she talks about loss and celebrating life that helped me to get better and to go on. This is a video about a wife of 20+yrs and working mother of 3 beautiful boys last day on earth. Her grief is palpable. The strength it takes to keep your composure while talking about your soulmate is incredible! I really hate people sometime. If Celine is able to not let her grief consume her then so can I!! I think if you really love somone as Celine obviously did, 20 years of amazing marriage with a spouse who is 20-30 years older than you is worth it.

Not a couple months later but I think it was only 2 DAYS after RENE's death & it would have been on RENE's 74th? Birthday when her brother passed away!! Her brother also had a same cancer.."throat cancer", her husband had.... It's incredibly sad.... but Celine found the way to deal with the pain, thinking RENE came down on his birthday to take her brother who was in his final stage. RENE took him as her brother was too weak to fly on his own.... It was beautiful, sad & profound.. God bless her & her family!(^^)

Let me tell you something, most people don't let go because that person wants to stay here with their family. My uncle just passed and the hour that we all couldn't come he let go finally. He would have stayed if we were there. My dad died of liver cancer, they called us and we drove the 2hrs and he waited to see his kids, we left in 14 mins he was gone. Sometimes it's the right thing to do not to see someone at their worst. To know and LOVE someone that long, I can't even imagine.

Celine is right about those choices one makes. I was present at my mother's death back in May 2015. She died in the hospital and I stayed with her in her room until they came for her. I made that final walk down to where I could no longer go due to hospital rules. People have asked me why? I tell them, "You weren't in my shoes or making those emotional decisions." Celine was right. When someone is suffering and in pain the last thing you want to do is cause them more pain by even taking a selfish minute to go into a room to just to say something they might not understand. Rene knew Celine was with him as he passed and would have understood her reasons for not going in. That is something only Celine and Rene knew. They were one half of a heart beating in UNISON! Love you Celine and Rene. Always.

The kiss and i love you Rene gave to Celine's sister was likely for Celine. That was goodbye. As was the phone call to her in the dressing room. What a good man he was. Celine did her best and it was more than anyone could hope for. I hope she is at peace with the way he passed. Rene did it his way i think. It was a long goodbye as it was and there is no good way.
