This new iteration of a Masterpiece Optimus Prime has got me entranced. I am glad that there is another hands-on review of this upcoming figure from Magic Square and in all, I love this review and this figure. The overall appearance of the figure is more like the G1 cartoon, being more chunkier. The only kibble part of the figure is the wide truck roof at the back of the figure. It is slightly jarring, but taking note of how the transformation design of the figure is quite astounding and this being the only one is quite impressive to me. Speaking of transforming, looking at how it transforms seems quite involved in my opinion. Having parts of the robot and the panels out for clearance and managing the armatures is quite a hastle. In the end the truck mode of the figure is excellently cohesive; especially its flatbed, though having some gaps, looks great than the previous Prime figures. Lastly the best thing about this figure is the articulation; the design of the joints are beautiful in executing poses. Thank you for making this excellent toy review! Keep up the great work.

From what I’ve heard from what few reviews I’ve seen of this figure, the transformation is said to actually be fun and feels more like you’re transforming a toy rather than solving a puzzle.
