C&NW Class Part II

More classification switching near Metra's Berkeley Station on the Chicago and North Western in September, 1994, about six months before its acquisition by the Union Pacific. And after that, we ride into downtown for a (brief) look at an elevated and a South Shore departure.

The conductor you saw throw the switch is Mike Bergeron..he is now retired, I believe.

used too watch them bring the sand cars for the quarry in elmhurst also hung out in villa park talk about shady lombard was cool west chicago watch out for the stoners and homeless
