The pixel art was literally fucking me. I had heard that Rhea of Thorulond had been stuck down there, and as I try keep as many npcs alive as I can, I went into the Giants tomb, not at all ready for the horrors that awaited me both stats wise, and also mentally. I eventually found her and saved her, but unlike her I didn’t know my way out because 1) I didn’t have any source of light (I felt my way around the tomb by sticking to the walls, and falling off cliffs) and 2) those stupid ass skeleton giants/dogs were too strong. I couldn’t just teleport out as I had rested at a bonfire in there, and didn’t have the lord’s vessel (or whatever it’s called). So eventually I got the bright idea (was desperate, and felt smart at the time) to go deeper in the Giants tomb as I thought the game would just give me an elevator to ride up on, or teleport me out after killing a boss. But then after running away from those giant shit eating skeleton dogs and seeing light for the first time in ages, I eventually found myself at what looked to be a yellow fog gate, I was determined to kill the boss without a second thought, ready to be teleported the fuck outta there. But then the cold realization that I wasn’t playing Sekiro, I was playing Dark souls hit me like a slap on the ass. I tried to enter what looked like a fog gate but was met with “sealed with the great lords power”. Without the lordsvessel it was sealed, and with no way into the sealed room, or out of the giants tomb I went hollow. I had already platinumed Sekiro btw, beating the game on NG+ 5 with bell demon charm, and without kuro’s charm.

At first glance I thought the character was in that little cave in DS3 where your find one of the miracle rings and a divide braille book but then the skull lantern kinda threw me off. Only then I realized those were skeletons and you are actually in the Tomb of the Giants.
