Masterly presentation. Thank you. “Before a thing can be either true or false, it must have meaning.” I will sit with that for a long time. The exposition of planetary symbolism was wonderful.

Thank you for a wonderful presentation. One thing I would be at pains to add to its content, concerns his mental abilities in terms of the word "genius" and not to use it in any glib or throwaway sense, but to rather place him under the full weight of the word. Unfortunately, as we well know, the word these days as opposed to say days of yore or the Greek concept, whence the Poet was regarded as the benchmark of enlightenment / genius, is now in any "serious" sense almost certainly reserved for scientific endeavours and in a "non - serious" sense to almost any celebrity, footballer, sportsperson etc. who manages to achieve something. My own sensibilities for example inform me that say Lewis had have chosen a career in science, he would have made a daunting scientist. Lewis never forgot anything he ever read and proved it on more than one occasion and few if any, say apart from Elizabeth Anscombe (another Christian R.C.) ever matched him in debate. Thank God he saw his vocation as lying elsewhere. CS Lewis then, to whom alongside St Therese of Lisieux this side "of the curtain" in this worldly realm I "owe" certainly the strengthening of my faith, was a true and absolute genius and of course far more importantly - a truly great human being.

Excellent overview! One tid bit though is I'm fairly sure Tolkien is shown instead of Dyson during the discussion on Dyson. Nonetheless really who cares as it is very well done!

The 'Dyson' image is definitely Tolkien, and a well-known image of him as well! It would be easy to correct this using the still from his uncredited appearance in the movie 'Darling'.

Another error: when Ward is discussing Chad Walsh's book 'C.S. Lewis: Apostle to the Skeptics' the cover of a much later book with a similar title written by Walter Hooper is shown.
