Er,... are M and Z crazy? They're having their romantic candle-lit dinner in the ruins of the place which - due to M's greed and stupidity - collapsed a few weeks ago, injuring their son and nearly killing God knows how many people. All to re-state their love for each other. But, as S recognises, that love doesn't extend very far. Good to hear S tell it like it is: "You're so quick to judge me ... you think you're better..." Exactly. Their "love" makes them rejecting, contemptuous, callous.
