Plus émouvant encore que Suzanne Chaisemartin à St. Sulpice ou Louis Robilliard à St. François de Salles à Lyon, ce qui n'est pas peu dire!..Tout bonnement merveilleux, la meilleure et la plus juste interprétation qu'il m'ait été donnée d'écouter de cette pièce empreinte d'un tel mysticisme!..Chaque note est à déguster tel un pur délice!..Je ne m'en lasse pas!..Beau à pleurer..BRAVO et MERCI, Cher Vincent Dubois!..

Bravo. Ci ha dato Musica! Sono sicuro che monsieur Dubois sia anche un eccellente pianista per come tratta i tasti:non semplici interruttori ma...produttori di suono attraverso muscoli,tendini e tanto cuore . Franck è un musicista difficile che richiede molto da chi lo esegue. Ottimo!

I have a recording of this particular work by Pierre Cochereau, released on the Omega label in the late 1950s. Therein, Cochereau takes a somewhat more bombastic approach to the piece. But the relatively more subtle execution in the early moments here still serves the purpose. Job well done!
