what a voice....omg angelic if there ever was one she has it. before she had sung the first two phrases I was pouring down tears of joy at her presentation...one of my favorite pieces of music presented in the best way possible. I have to give credit to the organ player too, she is incredibly good, but the voice melted me down into a puddle of joy. Thank you for this. Oh God yes. Thank you so very much.

Nothing to say about the magnificient instrument, powerful but at the same time delicate, with the right combination of registers when necessary. Liene, as always, you are a great performer and skilful in accompanying the beautiful voice of the soprano. Congratulations for the voice control and of the vibrato, without intruding, as in many cases in opera music, into very annoying drops in tone at the top and bottom, absolutely out of place. I'm sorry but I must say that: "Panic angelicus" means bread of angels and the song was written for the Corpus Christi Mass. The Riga Cathedral is the lutheran church that not recognize roman-catholic transubstantiation and Evija sings this very catholic song in protestant church. That's irony ladies and gentlement!
