I live in the USA in New Jersey.! I just purchased the Garrett 200 I and I'm having the same exact problems.! I would hit a Target.! Then I go back over it and there's nothing and if I play around with it I'll get something.! I really particularly don't care for the Garrett 200.! Very disappointed. It's like it rings when it wants to. Like you said you would walk right over the site and miss your target

Richard Herrman AB- im finding the same issue will get a decent signal, dig up then signal will totally dissapear. Have to get pinpointer out in the end. Not always but occasionally. Thinking about getting a different coil. Hopefully this will help the problem. Scott

Suggest you do a pinpointing test on pasture, and see what can locate stuff properly, without using a probe, and without making a mess. Then try a CScope Promet against an Arado 130.

My friend uses the 250 and I have the 1mx. I always have the edge over his finds on the day and I'm sure it'd be the same with this model. The 1mx is very underrated

Nice to see you testing machines. Many people ask me about beginner detectors. I will send them this way for a gander. Digging up deep iron with on the off chance it's going to be something else will become tiresome. I think the c scope wins. I would like to see you test some mid range garret against the 3mxi

Hi m8 love the videos keep them coming. I would like to see a comparison between the cs4pi and a few of the other brands of PI machines. Maybe a 3 way comparison using the cs4pi vs Tesoro Sand Shark vs whites Surfmaster. Same as the video here on targets in wet sand. I would find this video very interesting. Thanks again ;)

I have used the C.Scope CS3,4 & 6 models, they are all fantastic and sharp with their response and plenty deep for all the sites I have searched. The Garret's have never impressed me TBH, they have a well known name in the industry and a big marketing budget - otherwise I can't think of a reason why you'd choose one? The new Minelab Vanquish range is looking like it'll displace Garret's dominance, I sincerely hope the new c.scope EVO6000 model lives up to expectations, as anyone who has enjoyed the personal service from c.scope will agree is second to none

Wow. Imagine the C-Scope with that background whine in your headphones. Migraine in 20 minutes. And even without headphones possibly ! I couldn't use the C Scope with that noise it would drive me mad. Even when you turned it down it was far too loud. Impossible to use the C Scope on those settings in my opinion. I would like to see the 3MX or 4MX against the new Quest Q40, that would be interesting mate. Great to see some new comparison videos on YT, well done. All the best Kris.

You can turn the threshold down so that it's quiet if you like.

I have both machines and the Cscope 6mxi is miles better on pasture not so good on the beach because of it's higher frequency. We live in the age of the smart phone so people want more for there money but I have to say I love using the 6mxi over both machines. Batteries don't last as long in the AT Pro as they do in the Cscope. The Cscope is really a switch on and go find it machine. The AT Pro is going to fry your brain for weeks whilst you try and get used to its tones. Once mastered though you will love it. Okay so the Cscope doesn't have the bells and whistles as the AT PRO but it looks and feels solid to use. My only complaint about cscope is it's wire positioning on the coil. If it were centred to the stem it wouldn't pull on it so much when the head is tilted. Other than that it's cscope all the way for me. I have the 4, 6 and PI for the beach plus the Bill Wyman model which I have called the cs330xd. I bought this for the kids but its brilliant on pasture and the beach and excels in trashy ground because of its small search coil. My nephew's prefer to use this over the ace 250.

I was surprised at how bad the Garrett was, the 250 and euro ace are super machines. But the 200i is poor on depth and discrimination. I tried a different coil with better results,

You can't knock these c scopes.......simplicity and great performance over the entire range.Most will buy other machines because they have more features,screens etc,but these c scopes will find just as much as anything else and more in some cases.......sometimes simple is best.
