Very interesting! A very concise explanation of the battles in the Chattanooga area. I had two gg grandfathers who fought here. One was from the 8th Kansas Infantry and the other from the 6th Missouri U.S. Infantry. This presentation helped me to understand the battles better.

8th Kansas was Union? If so, you can be very proud of both your ancestors for preserving the Union and abolishing slavery.

I grew up on Missionary Ridge. It’s in my blood.

I've been to Chickamauga & Chattanooga Battlefields many times, but I don't think the Natl Parks preserved any of Missionary Ridge. It was the BIGGEST charge of the Civil War with 25,000 Union charging up the Ridge without orders! GOD bless those guys.
