If I recall right, they used to make bags for 5.11 then struck out on their own. I'm glad CT has gotten the love it has instead of backlash. GoRuck themselves borrowed the design too and thankfully their fans understand that. Their sales prices are mad low even with the higher shipping cost ($20-50 depending on location). I think some of their woodland pattern bags are sitting around $30 atm.

So far they have fixed what I didn’t like about GoRuck. I gave put my work load out in it and will be carrying it this week

I've had Goruck for a while and CTactical has proven themselves to be a really great alternative. What I really love is the customs they do and recently they had their own CT26+, Kemular, SunBear and Taskmasker etc. Variants of each other in size and features - hoping one day they can just be part of their own line up. I wish Goruck took hints and incorporated a better front pocket and have two zippers like the CT for the laptop compartment. It's always annoying to have to move the straps inorder to access my laptop on my GR1.

Imo CT beats go ruck on a lot of fronts and only really loses to gr's very weird and extremely cult-like following.

I’ve got 3 Goruck packs and 2 CT 21s, 1 CT 15. C Tactical feels about 95% of Goruck quality at a fraction of the price. The good about the CT bags- hi vis lining, additional organization in slash pocket, water bottle pockets on the inside of the 21s. Laptop compartment has 2 zippers. In addition their limited edition packs ( assassin, rebel, etc. ) are way more accessible than Goruck. Carry is very comfortable, better than my Evergoods and Alpha One Niner Evade. The good for Goruck is that it is a superior bag if you are into rucking.

How do you find the comfort on that flat backpanel? I have an evergoods as well and your saying that the CT21 has a more comfortable carry got me really intrigued
@SkipHarper7 ай бұрын
@@normang663 The Evergoods digs into my lower back some and CT21 has comfortable straps, the back panel feels fine for EDC carry.

My LAPG Atlas 12 was made in Vietnam and at the time was identical to the 511 Rush 12. It’s very well made and was my edc pack for a long time. I still have but changed my edc pack to a Maxpedition sling bag.

Good bag. That said, because it's 35L, wouldn't it be competing more with the Rush 24 35L instead of the Rush 12 24L? I've got the Atlas 24. It's a tank, comparable to the Rush 72, but about a pound lighter & half the price, with only some features missing (the beaver tail front). It's great for carrying large loads, camping, or packing for a longer trip.

How has the tanker done so far? I had a few issues with the stitching on mine, namely the stitching on the large hook and loop panel failed and the pen slots in the admin section. That being said C-tactical did send me out a replacement. So all good there. Thank you Dan

So far its been great! I am doing a follow up video on it here shortly as I am swapping to another backpack for work to test next week.

@@AtwoodThreads That's great, I look forward to it. Repaired the original one and have the replacement in stand by, I'm hoping the original was just a one off regarding the stitching defects. Thank you for taking the time to reply, keep on with the great channel and content. Dan
